Vintage Ziegfeld ? Dance Dancers Black Costume Outfit Bullet Bra Sequins Beads

This is a vintage Black Dancer's outfit, costume. I am not sure of the age and this appears to have been HANDMADE. This came from a dealer in Rhode Island who told me that she had gotten it from a man whose Mother had been a Ziegfeld Follies dancer. There is no label, no name. The construction is a basic leotard (it does stretch) with a bullet bra bodice, zipper in the back; netted sleeves with sequins and beads added. There is netted material on both front sides, up above the bra - this connects to the netted sleeves, and in the front to the collar. There are shoulder pads underneath. This is a petite (overall size) size, I would think for a size 5 or 6 woman, but I do not know the exact size. When looking at the BACK of the outfit while it is hanging on a hanger - the total length, from the top of the zipper to the very bottom of the hem of one of the legs is 54 1/4" long. From the BOTTOM of the collar in the back to the bottom sag of the material (in the derriere) measures 28 1/4" long when hanging on a hanger. The inseam of one of the legs is 27". The height of just the collar itself is 2 1/2" High. The sleeves measure ROUGHLY 22 1/2" in length. It is too difficult to get a measurement across the bodice or under the armpits. (a seamstress I am not, unfortunately).
There is wear; areas of loss to the beads, sequins. When looking at the front, the rosettes on the collar and left chest are literally hanging on by a thread (there is beadwork underneath the rosette
that is on the collar). The strings of beads that are hanging off of the shoulders are plastic.
I am not sure as to what is original to the piece versus what may have been added on later. The zipper does work (it says TALON on the zipper tab).
There is what appears to be sweat residue on the inside of the collar and inside of the bodice, bra. There is a cologne or perfume residual odor.
